Why Women Kill Season 1 – Story

"You look like an angel; Walk like an angel; Talk like an angel; But I got wise; You're the devil in disguise. You fooled me with your kisses; You cheated and you schemed; Heaven knows how you lied to me; You're not the way you seemed." – subplots expressed in a nutshell. Plot setup: House move in 1962; now 1963 – April a singing waitress & Beth Ann a doting wife. Move in 1974; now 1984 – Simone a socialite. Move in 2017, now 2019 – Taylor a feminist, bisexual, open marriage. Jade the interloper. Negatives: Cartoohish intro to each episode. Lacked subtitles for the elderly, disabled, hearing impaired, and ESL viewers; disrespectful & cheap on the part of the producers. Positives: Simone: "I hope to have a very happy life in this house." Beth: "Happy life isn't very hard to come by. The trick is to not regret the choices you made along the way." AIDS statement (applies to other illnesses): "What we can choose is when to die and how." So, our viewing journey comes to an end in the final episode offering many surprises. Good background music & sound effects. Clothing, sets, cars all museum accurate. Acting superb. Clever superposition of years in the same rooms.
