Tikdam (2024) – Story

Prakash, a loving father and dutiful son, juggles taking care of his two kids, elderly parents, and a low-paying job at a small-town hotel. His dream of a promotion crumbles when the hotel shuts down due to financial woes. Torn between responsibility and his children’s needs, Prakash gets a life-changing offer – a well-paying job in Mumbai. While this means a better life for his family, it also signifies leaving them behind. Prakash’s children, witnessing other kids in similar situations, hatch a plan. They believe that a “bad” town is the reason their fathers have to leave. United with other children, they embark on a mission to clean up the town and make it a better place, hoping their fathers won’t have to leave.
