Raayan (2024) – Story

Senapathy, an ex-freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption. Senapathy returns to the country to aid a young man who has been exposing corrupt politicians in the country through videos on the internet. The story opens with a group of friends posting videos about the corruption and inefficiencies of the Indian public service sector and raising awareness. This introduction connects with a desire of these friends for “Indian Thatha” to come back to India to bring about change while they are feeling helpless. Indian makes a comeback to the story and the movie leads us through his renewed efforts to “weed” out corrupt individuals through his own actions as well as his urges to young people to turn on those they know.

Raayan (2024) – Review

Raayan carries a huge potential to leave a impact on us,but it fails someway.See this review with possible assumptions to make it better maybe.20min from start, its a stereotypical shankar’s political movie.but after that, idk siddharth’s(Chitra) unbelievable instinct of senapathy’s existence ,its just goes for next 15mins of unbelivable things like, somebody in taipei recognizes senapathy in his new getup.Im happy that he got some logic of getting passport, but the bgm not worked there. The airport scene looked too artificial, well it may be tried to staged as comedy scene.but it just bad.Bobby Simha(Pramod) & Vivek sir’s duo looked like a detective duo in anniyan.Pramod’s detective brain is impressive, but i say senapathy voluntarily lured pramod by his ultra awkard actions. From there senapathy’s character starts to liquid down. The escape seemed to be very illogical, but leave it.just assume he escaped somehow(assume gps not invented).
